Scenes From An Ordinary Day

I'm sad to say this is what my living room really looks like today.

I’ve been taking the children out often these past few weeks.  I need to be out with them, but I need to also not be with other people.  Did you know there are very few families at the art museum? And that most of the adults just kind of leave you alone to do your own thing?  Very nice.  Especially if you’re feeling anti-social.  (Also, the Speed museum in Louisville is free on Sundays till 2021, if you’re local or passin’ through!)

I love your ordinary day scenes! My whole house is looking like that last picture. It usually does post-weekend. The kids are working on it right now, and it’s my turn to go jump in and do my part too!

oh, i didn’t know the Speed museum is free on Sundays…awesome! I’ve been meaning to get the kids there but money is tight and I hate driving into Louisville except when most of the city is asleep. No excuses now :)

Glad you’re getting time out with the family. I may be prying, but what does this mean? “I need to be out with them, but I need to also not be with other people.” Is it avoiding strangers to not get sick or something? Anyways, thanks for sharing your “ordinary”, makes mine seem more normal :)

I get it. Surround yourself with those you love and the strangers will be there another day, good or bad. Lucky for you, you are always surrounded by those special people :)
